We love the world naked bike ride Cardiff but you don't have to take our word for it. This is what past riders have to say about it.

The first time I undressed in public for this ride I felt a little self conscious but when you understand everybody is just thinking about themselves you just get blown away by the fun of the ride!

I have taken part in this very special bike ride several times in different places; Brighton, Bristol and Cardiff. It's always been very good fun! There is a lovely jolly atmosphere with music and lots of colour. Face and body painting are often a way of sending our message across: Be eco friendly, embrace diversity and have fun!

I attended my first ride in 2013 -nervous and apprehensive - but the friendly people, the carnival atmosphere and the reaction of the public soon put me at ease. 2022 marks my 15th ride and I would encourage anyone to just turn up and give it a try, it's a wonderful experience.

Doing the Cardiff Naked Bike Ride was thrilling and liberating. The CWNBR team are highly organised and experienced and bring together a diverse group of like minded individuals who make for a great community. I pushed my partner to do it so we could experience it together and it is still one of the stand out memories we have! DO IT! You won’t regret it and you’ll inspire others too!

I always look forward to the World Naked Bike Ride in Cardiff. I sometimes feel vulnerable on the roads, but being one of hundreds of happy naked cyclists is surprisingly empowering. It's a joyous experience I'd recommend to anyone.

I love attending the WNBRs. It’s a real buzz seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces, either on bikes or spectating. Riding round a city or town you know well, in the buff, is so much fun!

I am known as a 'Naked Person' and an advocate of a body positive lifestyle. I have attended many World Naked Bike Rides including Cardiff. They are such a great way to explore a clothes free lifestyle in a fun and safe environment. They are a celebration of the naked form as well as being an incredibly bold statement in support of an eco friendly way of living. Many of my female friends have joined me on the rides. All of them have had wonderfully positive experiences and have since gone on to enjoy a more clothes free lifestyle.

I've attended all the Cardiff WNBRs since 2013. They have all been great fun, and a fantastic way to promote road safety issues for cyclists and
body positivity. We follow a good route and virtually everyone we pass waves, cheers, and smiles as we go by! Initially I had a few reservations about
people finding out, but in work on the Monday after my first ride, interestingly, the subject somehow came up in the coffee room in work, and I admitted to a friend that I had been on the ride. Seeing the expression on his face made doing the ride even more worthwhile! Straight away he went out into the open plan office shouting 'Howard did a naked bike ride! Howard did a naked bike ride!'. The news spread all round work, and everyone was supportive - there were no negative comments at all. One friend even joined me the next year.
